Getting help for completing a Statement of Concurrence (SOC)
Statement of Affairs can be quite
complicated to prepare.
Parties who have been asked to submit a Statement
of
Concurrence should consider obtaining advice and assistance in its
preparation.
In most scenarios the cost of obtaining advice is actually met by the Administrators or Receivers out of the assets of the Company. Therefore in many cases there is no direct cost to the person seeking advice. This cost is payable in priority to the Administrator’s fees so there are usually sufficient funds to meet the claim.
It is very possible however that the cost of assistance will have to be paid by the person required to prepare the SOA and that this will be claimable from the Administrators or Receivers. More details about these rules can be found in the Statement of Affairs help section.
